About the Role

We are seeking an experienced IT Support Engineer to join our team at Arcus Solutions. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for providing first and second-line support to our employees, ensuring that all IT-related incidents and service requests are resolved efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide first and second-line support for all IT-related incidents and service requests
  • Ensure all IT deliverables and timescales are met, achieving a high standard of customer satisfaction
  • Take on shared responsibility for the IT ticketing system, monitoring, and responding to all IT service requests
  • Carry out fault analysis and implement temporary or permanent fixes to ensure normal service is restored as soon as possible
  • Support with configuring, administering, and troubleshooting problems with mobile phones, tablets, and other mobile devices, as well as Windows end-user devices and Windows Servers
  • Participate in deployment and upgrades of system software, user software, and devices as required
  • Provide support for Mitel VOIP phone systems and manage security upgrades and anti-virus across the desktop estate
Requirements
  • Experience working in a similar 1st/2nd line support role with exposure to Office 365, VOIP telephony, end-user support, and Windows operating systems
  • Excellent customer service skills, with a passion to deliver an outstanding service within an IT role
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to communicate via multiple channels
  • Strong administration and organization skills, with the ability to keep tickets, documentation, and records up to date
