Planned Works Manager

This is an exciting opportunity to lead the Planned Works Team at Blue Octopus Recruitment Ltd. As a Chartered Surveyor, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing the delivery of planned works projects, ensuring legislative and regulatory compliance and delivery within the approved budget.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and oversee the delivery of planned works projects
- Ensure legislative and regulatory compliance
- Deliver projects within the approved budget
- Work with the Property Director to plan future programmes and provide regular performance updates
- Write and review specification, tender, and contract documents, value for money statements, and policies/procedures
- Assist with internal and external audits and ensure implementation of recommendations made
You will be a Chartered Member of the RICS or equivalent with a HNC, HND, or Degree-level qualification. You will have an understanding of building construction and building pathology, with experience diagnosing defects and specifying remedial works.
You will be an excellent people manager with proven experience managing a remote team. You will have good knowledge of Health & Safety Legislation, including CDM, Fire, and Building Safety.
