Data Center Security Manager Job Summary



Amazon is seeking a highly skilled Data Center Security Manager to oversee the safety and security of our data centers. This role is responsible for providing a secure environment for our people, assets, and customer data.



Key Responsibilities

As a Data Center Security Manager, you will:




  • Implement and maintain robust security protocols to protect against physical and digital threats.
  • Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and areas for improvement.
  • Develop and implement emergency response plans to ensure prompt and effective response to security incidents.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of security measures across all data centers.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to ensure our security measures remain cutting-edge.


About the Role

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:




  • A bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as security, computer science, or a related field.
  • At least 4 years of experience in data center security or a related field.
  • Proven track record of implementing and maintaining effective security measures.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
