Job Description

We are seeking a Chemical Development Specialist to join our team in Greater Manchester. This is a permanent role that involves testing the application of new products in development using various methods, supporting Quality Assurance (QA) when required, and contributing to new product development.

The ideal candidate will have recently finished college with an A-level or HND in Chemistry. Chemistry graduates who have completed a final year research project involving coatings and/or product application testing are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting in the application testing of a range of products including coatings and composites
  • Analyzing the properties of finished products using techniques such as rheology testing, properties analysis, and thermal properties evaluation
  • Assisting in Quality Assurance (QA) as needed
  • Potentially contributing to the development of new products
  • Maintaining laboratory equipment and ensuring proper upkeep

Requirements:

  • A-level or HND in Chemistry
  • Recent college leavers are encouraged to apply
  • Keen interest in Chemistry
  • High attention to detail
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability and enthusiasm to learn

Salary: £22,000 - £27,000 per annum. Benefits include flexible working hours, 5 holidays per annum, including bank holidays.
