Role Overview
C&M Travel Recruitment seeks an experienced Supplier Relationship Manager to join our team. As a key member of our global travel consortia, you will work closely with the head of accommodation to drive business growth and development.
About the Role
This is a home-based position that requires a background in working for a TMC or hotel group. A strong understanding of Lanyon/Cvent and experience managing the RFP process are essential. GDS knowledge is also highly desirable. In return for your expertise, you can expect a competitive salary up to £45k plus excellent benefits package.
Key Responsibilities
- Sales and Account Management: Sell the Global Accommodation Programme and marketing packages to new and existing accommodation providers and hotel suppliers.
- RFP Process Management: Manage the RFP process via Lanyon/Cvent for the Global Accommodation Programme and handle supplier partner queries.
- Contracting and Reporting: Support the annual RFP process in contracting over 60,000 properties and monitor GDS rate loadings for the Global Accommodation Programme.
- Relationship Development: Meet with existing supplier partners offering regular account management meetings and look at how to maximise existing partnerships.
- Data Analysis: Run regular reports from an online system to better manage supplier relationships and accounts.
- Financial Administration: Be responsible for supplier partner invoicing processes.
- Networking: Attend regular events to network with existing and new partners.
Requirements
- Lanyon/Cvent Experience: Excellent experience working with Lanyon/Cvent - This is a must.
- Background in Hospitality: Background in a similar role working for a TMC or hotel group.
- RFP Process Management: Experience of managing the RFP process.
- GDS Knowledge: Ideally GDS knowledge.
- Facing Meetings: Experience with face-to-face meetings.
- Interpersonal Skills: People person, friendly with a can-do attitude.
- Travel Requirements: Able to attend events.
