Key Responsibilities:

As a Commercial Supply Chain Finance Specialist at Crédit Agricole Group, you will provide critical middle office support for the business conducted by International Trade Banking (ITB) – supply chain finance, forfaiting, and cash management/Client Services activity.

Key Responsibilities ITB:

  1. Act as the primary contact for Transaction Banking Clients (both Corporate and Financial Institutions) on their cash management, supply chain, and forfaiting activities, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations and timely reporting.
  2. Maintain a high level of interaction and communication with the Front Office to ensure full knowledge of developments in the business, including pipeline activity.
  3. Serve as the first point of contact on the supply chain finance, forfaiting & cash management activity.

Receivable and Supply Chain Finance:

  1. Manage relationships with Borrowers and agents on RSF transactions, ensuring smooth execution and timely completion.
  2. Review and comment on 'draft' documentation for new transactions to ensure operational fit with middle office requirements, highlighting areas for further discussion with and/or review by the Front Office as necessary.
  3. Ensure necessary Credit approvals are in place and all checks are performed before opening a new credit line or a new account.
  4. Prepare Transmission Sheets for back office and Risk when applicable.
  5. Obtain all relevant documentation, create transactions in bank systems, and ensure executed copies of all appropriate documentation are provided to Risk and back office and sent to Legal for safekeeping.
  6. Liaise with Risk and BSG for daily handling of all deals.
  7. Manage drawdowns and repayments, liaising with Back office.
  8. Book and maintain transactions in Middle-Office Systems when required (committed lines).
  9. Maintain diary systems to ensure all actions on the portfolio are monitored.
  10. Prepare audit responses.
  11. Ensure adhoc queries relating to deals are dealt with in an accurate and timely manner (e.g. payment instructions, follow-up queries on payments etc).
  12. Ensure all procedures (for each supply chain and reverse forfaiting) are up to date and controls files are in place in the proper directory.

Cash Management & Client Services:

  1. Support FO teams to ensure timely and quality service on the cash management activity – opening/amendment/closing of accounts and associated services.
  2. Cash Management activity: deposit accounts, boosted deposit accounts, payments (domestic and cross border), e-banking (OPTIM.NET and OPTIM SWIFNet).
  3. Support all the clients' requests related to accounts (bank statement, change of authorised signatories etc) and process them accurately in a timely manner.
