Cash Management and Supply Chain Finance Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Cash Management and Supply Chain Finance Specialist. As a key member of our International Trade Banking team, you will be responsible for providing middle office support for our clients' cash management, supply chain finance, and forfaiting activities.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Provide high-level support for Transaction Banking Clients on their cash management, supply chain, and forfaiting activities, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations and accurate reporting.
  2. Maintain close interaction and communication with the Front Office to ensure full knowledge of business developments, including pipeline activity.
  3. Act as the first point of contact for supply chain finance, forfaiting, and cash management activities, ensuring timely and accurate execution.
Supply Chain Finance and Cash Management
  1. Review and comment on draft documentation for new transactions to ensure operational fit with middle office requirements, highlighting areas for discussion with the Front Office.
  2. Ensure necessary credit approvals are in place and all checks are performed before opening new credit lines or accounts.
  3. Prepare transmission sheets for back office and risk teams when applicable.
  4. Obtain relevant documentation, create transactions in bank systems, and ensure executed copies are provided to risk and back office teams.
  5. Liaise with risk and BSG teams for daily handling of deals.
  6. Manage drawdowns and repayments, liaising with back office teams.
  7. Book and maintain transactions in middle-office systems when required.
  8. Prepare audit responses.
  9. Ensure all procedures are up to date and controls files are in place in the proper directory.
Cash Management and Client Services
  1. Support FO teams to ensure timely and quality service on cash management activities, including account opening, amendment, and closure.
  2. Cash management activity: deposit accounts, boosted deposit accounts, payments (domestic and cross-border), e-banking (OPTIM.NET and OPTIM SWIFNet).
  3. Support clients' requests related to accounts (bank statements, change of authorized signatories, etc.) and process them accurately and timely.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent.
  • In-depth experience in providing middle office/back office support to a front office.
  • Knowledge of cash management activities or supply chain finance.
  • Knowledge of transaction banking.
  • In-depth experience of reviewing loan agreements and associated documentation from an operational perspective.
  • In-depth experience in managing bank accounts (cash management account, boosted deposit account, collateral accounts, etc.).
