We are seeking a skilled Planning Specialist to join our team at Tangram. As a Planning Specialist, you will play a key role in shaping the future of our district by processing resource consents, land information memorandums, and project information memorandums. You will also assist with the District Plan review and provide planning advice to the public, consultants, and our employees.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process resource consents and land information memorandums
- Assist with the District Plan review and implementation
- Provide planning advice to the public, consultants, and employees
- Collaborate with the Planning Manager to develop and implement planning strategies
Requirements:
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Planning or Resource Management
- Membership of the New Zealand Planning Institute or eligibility to apply
- Previous work experience in a planning position is advantageous
- High levels of accuracy and attention to detail
- Knowledge of and respect for the principles of the Treaty of Waitangi
