About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive individual to provide administrative support to our Commissioning Editors and the Head of Comedy. The successful candidate will have a genuine passion for scripted comedy, knowledge of the UK comedy landscape, and a hunger to learn and streamline working processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-level administrative support to the Commissioning Editors and the Head of Comedy, including diary management, travel arrangements, and expense filing.
  • Support the Commissioning Editors through the project management of all relevant editorial/compliance processes.
  • Manage all relevant Editorial/Compliance processes by working with the channel's legal teams.
  • Arrange team events, including Comedy Festivals, New Talent Schemes, and scouting opportunities.
  • Assist with special projects, reports, presentations, and meeting minutes.
  • Complete Programme Certifications and Language Forms for all department output.
  • Be jointly responsible with the Commissioning Editor for editorial/compliance issues on specified series.
  • Track ratings and performance of programmes, distributing as required.
  • Supervise any compliance edits of department's output as required.
