Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Lead Energy Engineer to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the development of energy efficiency and renewable energy projects for our clients in both the public and private sectors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of High Level Assessments (HLA) and Investment Grade Proposals (IGP) for a variety of energy efficiency and renewable energy projects.
  • Conduct on-site energy audits and site surveys to identify opportunities for technical solutions, including energy conservation measures (ECM) and renewables.
  • Develop engineering outline designs, including equipment sizing and layout, system performance parameters, control philosophy, and constructability assessments.
  • Perform feasibility studies, techno-economic analyses, and energy modeling for a range of clean technologies.
  • Prepare project capital cost estimates, energy savings calculations, and financial evaluations of proposed ECMs.
  • Collaborate with clients, stakeholders, technical specialists, and subcontractors throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Produce comprehensive technical reports, presentations, and supporting documentation.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of our processes and services.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent).
  • Chartered Engineer status (or working towards it).
  • Experience with energy engineering, renewables, or decarbonization projects.
  • Strong understanding of building services and engineering principles.
  • Proven lead development skills, including project scoping and constructability assessment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Power BI.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
