Senior MEP Planning Manager

We are seeking an experienced MEP Planning Manager to join our team at People Group. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the delivery of key assignments and defined business areas, providing strategic direction and monitoring delivery aligned with overall vision and objectives.
The project is a high-value data centre for a blue-chip organisation. Our client is looking for an MEP planner who can add significant value supporting the project team as it transitions from construction to fit-out, MEP installation, commissioning, and handover.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage the delivery of key assignments and defined business areas, providing strategic direction and monitoring delivery aligned with overall vision and objectives.
- Review schematics and gain understanding of the MEP installation and commissioning strategy.
- Understand the major project milestones and agree with the lead project planner.
- Be an advanced user of Asta, and have a working knowledge of other planning software such as MS project and P6.
- Have experience of projects with heavy MEP and commissioning elements, such as those in the technology or manufacturing sectors.
- Possess detailed knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and commissioning, including installation techniques, best practice, and single system commissioning requirements, construction build elements, including sequencing and dependencies, design processes, and design programmes.
- Be able to assist in value engineering and C2P project strategy and demonstrating programme benefits.
