About the Role

Mace is seeking an experienced MEP Senior Planning Manager to join our team. As a key member of our project delivery team, you will be responsible for planning and coordinating the installation and commissioning of MEP systems on high-value data centre projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain detailed MEP installation and commissioning programmes, ensuring alignment with project timelines and budgets.
  • Collaborate with project stakeholders to identify and mitigate risks, ensuring safe and efficient project delivery.
  • Provide expert advice on MEP installation and commissioning techniques, best practices, and single system commissioning requirements.
  • Lead and manage diverse teams, ensuring effective communication and collaboration with clients, subcontractors, and equipment suppliers.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, project managers, and senior management.
Requirements
  • Advanced user of Asta and experience with other planning software such as MS Project and P6.
  • Proven track record of delivering high-value projects with heavy MEP and commissioning elements.
  • Detailed knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and commissioning systems, including installation techniques and best practices.
  • Commercial and financial acumen, with experience of managing budgets and resources.
  • Leadership and management experience, with the ability to motivate and direct diverse teams.
