About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Urology Consultant to join our team at the Isle of Wight NHS Trust. As a key member of our Urology Service, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality diagnostic, treatment, and management of adult patients with urological disorders and diseases.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality patient care, ensuring rapid assessment, treatment, and clinical decision-making.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical guidelines and protocols.
  • Participate in clinical audit and research relevant to the specialty.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with colleagues, patients, and other stakeholders.
  • Ensure effective communication and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
Requirements
  • MBBS or equivalent qualification.
  • Membership with the relevant Royal College.
  • GMC registration and license to practice.
  • Entry on the GMC Specialist Register in Urology via CCT, CESR, or European Community rights.
  • High level of clinical experience and competence in Urology.
  • Knowledge of current trends in the specialty.
  • IT skills.
