About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Occupational Therapist to join our team in a specialist London hospital. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be working with patients who have complex needs related to HIV and neurological conditions.

As an experienced OT, you will have a strong interest in providing trauma-informed, recovery-focused therapies to help patients maximise their independence and develop self-management skills. You will also be part of an incredible team that provides detailed and holistic care to patients with overlapping needs.

This is a permanent position for a Senior Occupational Therapist, offering a fulfilling and dynamic role where you can make a real difference in the lives of your patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Providing high-quality occupational therapy services to patients with complex needs related to HIV and neurological conditions.
  • Working collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to deliver patient-centred care.
  • Developing and implementing individualised treatment plans to promote patient independence and self-management.
  • Maintaining accurate records and contributing to quality improvement initiatives.
Person Specification
  • (Essential) Registration with the HCPC as an Occupational Therapist.
  • (Essential) Registration (or eligibility for) with the RCOT.
  • (Essential) Evidence of a clinical interest in HIV, neurological, and/or rehabilitation services.
  • (Essential) Notable experience working at a level equivalent to top NHS AfC Band 6 or higher.
