We are delighted to be working exclusively with a successful and dynamic business in the finance sector to recruit a Sales Ledger Clerk for their finance team.

Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will be responsible for managing the Billing / Sales Invoice process and providing additional support to the Sales Ledger finance team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administration of the sales process, ensuring accuracy and efficiency
  • Amendment of Sales Ledger contracts in the financial system, maintaining compliance and regulatory requirements
  • Production and distribution of Sales Ledger invoices, meeting tight deadlines and high volume demands
  • Production and distribution of statements to customers, ensuring timely and accurate communication
  • Matching and posting of customer payments, maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Setting up new Sales Ledger accounts on the system, ensuring seamless integration and minimal disruption
  • Liaise with Customers to resolve Sales Invoice queries, providing exceptional customer service and support
  • To support the accounts team and cover in busy times and period of absence, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability
  • To actively contribute to the improvement of our processes, driving efficiency and effectiveness

This role will suit an experienced Sales Ledger Assistant who is an excellent communicator, used to working to strict monthly deadlines with a high degree of accuracy. You will ideally have experience of working in a high volume environment, with a strong understanding of financial systems and processes.
