Job Opportunity for a Purchase Ledger Clerk

Reed Accountancy is currently working with a company in need of a skilled Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their team on a temporary basis. This is an ongoing interim and full-time position that requires the ability to process a large volume of paper invoices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Processing and reconciling invoices
  • Entering invoices into the company's accounting system
  • Obtaining approval for invoices
  • Preparing and processing bacs runs

Requirements:

  • Recent experience with accounting software, preferably Sage
  • Ability to process a high volume of invoices in a timely manner
  • Organizational and methodical approach to work
  • Excellent communication skills to interact with other departments

Working Hours: 9am-5pm, Monday to Friday

Location: Office-based, with free parking available
