About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Recruitment and Outreach Lead to join our Training Team at the Manufacturing Technology Centre (MTC) in Oxford.

In this role, you will be responsible for leading the recruitment and outreach efforts for our apprenticeship programs, working closely with our marketing team to promote our offerings and engage with schools and education partners.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract top talent for our apprenticeship programs
  • Lead on interview and assessment centre arrangements, ensuring a smooth and professional experience for candidates
  • Provide employability information, advice, and guidance to apprentice applicants, ensuring they have a clear understanding of our programs and opportunities
  • Manage a complex and varied caseload, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines
  • Collaborate with our marketing team to promote our apprenticeship programs through various channels, including social media, events, and partnerships
  • Coordinate STEM and outreach activities, promoting our apprenticeship offerings to schools and education partners
  • Work closely with our Training Team to ensure seamless integration of recruitment and outreach efforts

Person Specification

We are looking for a candidate who:

Essential:

  • Has a strong understanding of the manufacturing sector and its requirements
  • Is highly organized and able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders
  • Is proficient in the use of MS applications, including Word, Outlook, and Excel
  • Has a strong attention to detail and ability to multitask

Desirable:

  • Has a qualification in employability and/or Information, Advice and Guidance
  • Has experience in apprentice recruitment and outreach
  • Has knowledge of STEM and ED&I initiatives and their impact
  • Has experience in events organization and marketing
