At Rotherwood, we are seeking an experienced Sheet Metal Programmer to join our team in Rossendale. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for creating CNC programs that will be produced on our Trumpf Tru Punch 1000.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Utilize your expertise in TruTops BOOST and SOLID WORKS to create efficient CNC programs.
  2. Develop and implement nesting strategies for Trumpf equipment to optimize production.
  3. Collaborate with production staff to ensure seamless workflow and timely delivery.
  4. Maintain accurate production logs and records.
  5. Work closely with punch and folding machine operators to optimize performance and reduce material usage.
  6. Maximize punch and folding cycle times while ensuring high-quality output.
  7. Develop strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders through excellent communication skills.
  8. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Working Hours:

Monday to Friday, 8.00am to 4.30pm.

Job Type: Full-time, permanent position with a 6-month probationary period.

Salary: A competitive salary commensurate with industry standards and dependent on experience.

Benefits: Workplace pension contribution, 25 days annual leave plus Bank Holidays.
