Sheet Metal Programmer Job Description

Our client, based in Rossendale, is seeking an experienced Sheet Metal Programmer to assist in the creation of CNC Programs for Trumpf Tru Punch 1000 equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Utilize TruTops BOOST and SOLID WORKS software to create CNC Programs.
  2. Develop expertise in Nesting for Trumpf equipment to optimize production.
  3. Collaborate with Production team to ensure efficient manufacturing processes.
  4. Maintain accurate Production logs and records.
  5. Work closely with Punch and folding Machine operators to enhance performance.
  6. Drive down material usage and maximize Punch and folding cycle times.
  7. Provide excellent communication skills to meet customer needs.
  8. Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
  9. Keen interest in engineering and commitment to quality.
  10. Excellent timekeeping and attendance record.
  11. Effective organizational skills and ability to maintain accurate records.
  12. Team player with ability to work on own initiative.
Working Hours and Benefits:

Monday to Friday, 8.00am to 4.30pm. Optional paid overtime available during busy periods.

Full-time, permanent position with 6 month probationary period.

Competitive salary commensurate with industry and locality, dependent on level of experience.

Workplace Pension contribution as standard; 25 days Annual leave plus Bank Holidays.
