About the Role

This is a challenging opportunity for an experienced professional to work on integrating European approval processes into our vehicle approval process, obtaining ECWVTA, NSSTA or IVA for specified products, and assessing the impact of legislation and regulations on bus design, manufacture, and use.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Coordinating with internal departments to integrate European approval processes into our vehicle approval process
  • Obtaining ECWVTA, NSSTA or IVA for specified Wrightbus products
  • Evaluating the impact of legislation and regulations on bus design, manufacture, and use
  • Liaising with external partners to obtain necessary approvals and ensure compliance
  • Cataloguing and managing approval documentation in a secure format
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you should have:

  • A BTEC HNC or Mechanical Engineering qualification (or equivalent)
  • A minimum of 2 years experience in an engineering company in an engineering compliance or quality-based role
  • Practical use of 2D CAD systems, ability to understand technical drawings, and computer literacy with MS Office skills
Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of £45,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits including health insurance, pension scheme, and opportunities for professional development.
