About the Role:

NHS Ayrshire and Arran is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join their East Ayrshire Intermediate Care Team (ICT). The successful candidate will work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team to prevent avoidable hospital admissions and reduce delayed hospital discharges.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a caseload and work alongside colleagues to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized treatment plans.
  • Delegate work and supervise, train, and develop students.

Requirements:

  • Ability to work in a community setting and maintain people in their own homes.
  • Knowledge of current national and local drivers influencing change.
  • Continuous professional development and evidence of ongoing learning.

Working Hours:

18.5 hours per week, with flexible/agile working arrangements available.

Essential Requirements:

  • UK driving license and car ownership.
