Occupational Therapist

About the Role:
NHS Ayrshire and Arran is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join their East Ayrshire Intermediate Care Team (ICT). The successful candidate will work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team to prevent avoidable hospital admissions and reduce delayed hospital discharges.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a caseload of patients and work alongside colleagues to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized treatment plans.
- Delegate work and supervise, train, and develop students.
Requirements:
- Ability to work in a community setting and maintain people in their own homes.
- Knowledge of current national and local drivers influencing change.
- Continuous professional development and evidence of ongoing learning.
Working Hours:
18.5 hours per week, with flexible/agile working arrangements. Weekend working is on a 1 in 8 basis rota, with opportunities for job share or part-time hours.
Essential Requirements:
- UK Driving Licence/Car Ownership.
