About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Speech and Language Therapist to join our Forensic Learning Disability Service for Adults with a Learning Disability. As a Specialist Speech and Language Therapist, you will work closely with our multi-professional team to assess and treat patients presenting with complex communication disorders and challenging needs.
Main Responsibilities
The post holder will take a lead role in the assessment and treatment of patients, providing specialist advice and training to other professionals as necessary. You will also supervise less experienced Speech and Language Therapists, assistants, and students as appropriate.

Person Specification
We are looking for a Speech and Language Therapist with a recognised degree qualification or equivalent, a Health Professional Council Licence to Practice, and registration with the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists. You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multi-disciplinary team.
