About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech and Language Therapist to join our Forensic Learning Disability Service for Adults with a Learning Disability. As a Specialist Speech and Language Therapist, you will work closely with our multi-professional team to assess and treat patients presenting with complex communication disorders and challenging needs.

Main Responsibilities

The post holder will take a lead role in the assessment and treatment of patients, working closely with other professionals and Speech and Language Therapists to provide advice, training, and education as necessary. You will also supervise less experienced Speech and Language Therapists, assistants, and students as appropriate.

Person Specification

The ideal candidate will have a recognised Speech and Language Therapy degree qualification or equivalent, a Health Professional Council Licence to Practice, and be a registered member of the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists.
