Support Services Deputy Manager

We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team as a Support Services Deputy Manager, playing a crucial role in supporting the Housing First Team in delivering holistic support services to vulnerable individuals in Surrey. As a Support Services Deputy Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring effective delivery of housing and support services, promoting independence and empowerment among clients, and building strong relationships with local authorities and stakeholders.

Salary & Benefits:
A competitive salary of £29,200 per annum, along with a range of excellent benefits, including 28 days annual leave, an additional wellbeing day, a defined contribution pension scheme, interest-free staff loans, and life assurance cover.

About the Role:
* Collaborate with the Housing First Team to develop and implement strategies that promote independence and empowerment among clients
* Manage risks and ensure compliance with duty of care standards
* Foster strong relationships with local authorities, community groups, and other stakeholders
* Develop and implement policies and procedures that align with organizational goals
* Assist the team leader in leading the Housing First Team and ensuring effective delivery of housing and support services

Requirements & Qualifications:
* A housing management qualification or willingness to work towards it, in line with Social Housing Regulation Act requirements
* Proven experience in team collaboration and support
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a dynamic team
* Essential requirement: full driving licence and own vehicle for occasional use
