We are seeking an experienced Engineering Portfolio Lead to join our team at Thames Water. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for delivering a range of engineering projects across our operational sites.

About the Role
  • The successful candidate will have a strong background in Mechanical, Electrical or Civil Engineering and experience in project management.
  • They will work closely with operations teams and contractors to scope, define and cost solutions that meet the company's needs.
  • The role requires excellent health and safety knowledge and the ability to maintain compliance with industry standards.

In this role, you will receive a car allowance and a salary up to £56,000 per annum depending on skills and experience. You will also enjoy annual leave - 26 days holiday per year increasing to 30 with the length of service.

Key Responsibilities
  • You will be responsible for managing a portfolio of projects with a value of £40,000 to £400,000 per project.
  • You will work collaboratively with operations teams and contractors to ensure that schemes deliver on time and within budget.
  • You will also be responsible for maintaining compliance with industry standards and ensuring that completion documents are available and handed over.
