We are seeking a skilled Portfolio Services Lead to join our EMEA Portfolio Services Team. This role will involve contributing to the day-to-day running of the team, covering aspects of portfolio control, information delivery, operational control framework, and data management escalations.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all governance activities are carried out in accordance with standard operating control policy and that all market, internal, and client escalation queries are handled in an accurate and timely manner.

As a Portfolio Services Analyst, you will:

  • Review accounts for issues associated with portfolio health using provided tools.
  • Provide support to the portfolio manager on operational issues and provide command and control over inquiries, escalations, and activities directly supporting the front office.
  • Act as the escalation contact for Client Middle Office Teams on more complex queries/issues/breaks requiring end-to-end portfolio services support.
  • Process month-end close functions (validate and sign-off on balances, review for non-base balances) for assigned accounts.
  • Identify data or account trends for discussion in group meetings.
  • Interact with all IMS teams (Accounting, Corporate Actions, Trading, Performance).
  • Prepare oversight reports for audit where applicable.
  • Act as the Governance lead for offshore locations where applicable.
  • Identify and ensure resolution of data point issues.

This role requires extensive investment management experience and proficiency with Microsoft Office and accounting platforms. A strong understanding of SQL is also beneficial. The ideal candidate will have 6+ years' experience in an asset management/middle office role and experience in back- and middle-office management of high-demand middle-office clients is considered a plus.

The salary for this position is estimated at $120,000 per year, based on industry standards and location.
