Our recent acquisition of Ingram Micro Commerce & Lifecycle Services has enabled us to build one of the world's leading end-to-end eCommerce service offerings.
Your RoleOur CEVA Showfreight team is an award-winning, specialist logistics service for exhibitions and events. Based at our Birmingham NEC operation, you'll manage logistical services for medium to large events and exhibitions across the UK and overseas, requiring flexibility in travel, nights away, and working hours.
Your responsibilities will include full management of logistical services, site handling, customs clearance procedures, multimodal shipping, road-shows, and traffic management, with overall site management and health and safety procedures for domestic and overseas events.
You'll be responsible for revenue growth of Showfreight and CEVA business through new business wins and expansion of existing clients, using effective propositions, account management, operational excellence, innovative solution design, and a professional sales approach. You'll build partnerships with internal senior management teams to secure contract development, renewals, and commercial terms, assisting in achieving budgeted sector targets, cost efficiency, and delivering excellent operational solutions.
The successful candidate will have experience in national and international exhibitions and events, with new business development or account management experience. Ideally, you'll have experience in a 3PL, freight forwarding, or supply chain and logistics environment, with understanding of worldwide shipping, including shipping restrictions and compliance.
This role requires flexibility and dedication, with considerable time spent away from home assisting with events, exhibitions, and projects. You'll need to travel within and outside the UK, so a valid passport and UK driving license are required.
