As a Logistics Manager at HS2 Ltd, you will play a crucial role in supporting the NEC 3 Project Manager and providing specialist logistics expertise throughout the construction process. Your key responsibilities will include assessing the feasibility of work, accepting, monitoring, and assuring contractor compliance with their Construction Logistics Strategy (CLS), Construction Logistics Plans (CLP), and Logistic Environment Safety Sustainability Management Plan (ESSMP).
You will be responsible for liaising with relevant teams within HS2 and contractors to identify logistics requirements, forming a base logistics plan for each area, and collaborating with other Area Logistics Managers to ensure interface items and arrangements are incorporated into construction logistics plans. Additionally, you will assist the Senior Logistics Manager in reviewing, producing, and delivering route-wide requirements, processes, and coordinated strategies for construction logistics.
About You:
We are looking for an individual with experience in construction and/or logistics environments, particularly in supply chain management and construction logistics. You should have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to produce and present information to various audiences. Your time management skills, conflict management abilities, and decision-making quality will also be essential in this role. Furthermore, you should have knowledge of applicable UK construction regulations, quality assurance processes, and site-based processes and procedures for health, safety, environmental, and environmental management.
