Senior Data Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Engineer to join our team at Understanding Recruitment. As a Senior Data Engineer, you will play a key role in designing and maintaining cloud-based data warehouse solutions, managing ETL processes and data pipelines, ensuring system performance and reliability, and providing leadership to junior team members.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement cloud-based data warehouse solutions using Snowflake, DBT, Airflow, and Kubernetes.
  • Manage and optimize ETL processes and data pipelines to ensure data accuracy and reliability.
  • Lead the development and maintenance of cloud architecture, including Azure, AWS, and GCP.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in data engineering, with a strong background in cloud architecture and data warehousing.
  • Expertise in Python, Snowflake, DBT, Airflow, Kubernetes, Terraform, and GitHub CI/CD.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to lead and mentor junior team members.
