**Your Role:**

We are seeking an experienced Electrolyte and Separator Scientist to join our team and lead our research and development efforts on next-generation Li-ion battery cell technologies.

As a key member of our team, you will drive innovation in electrolyte formulations and separator materials to enhance battery safety, efficiency, and energy density.

**Responsibilities:**

  • Conduct in-depth research and development on electrolyte compositions and separator materials to improve ionic conductivity, stability, and compatibility.
  • Develop and test advanced electrolyte and separator materials to support high energy density, fast-charging capabilities, and extended lifecycle needs.
  • Collaborate with R&D teams to integrate new materials into prototypes and align on performance goals.

**Requirements:**

  • In-depth understanding of electrochemical principles, ionic conductivity, and interface chemistry as they relate to electrolyte and separator performance.
  • Strong background in materials science, with expertise in synthesising, modifying, and testing electrolyte and separator materials.
  • Ability to apply electrochemical and materials science knowledge to overcome material limitations and enhance battery performance.

**What We Offer:**

A competitive salary of **£60,000 - £80,000** per annum, depending on experience, plus a range of benefits including private healthcare, car allowance, company bonus, enhanced parental leave policy, and cash allowance to boost your benefits.
