Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Corporate Communications professional to join our Marketing, Public Relations, and Communications team at Connells Group UK.

This role will play a pivotal part in shaping our internal and external communications strategies, ensuring seamless execution and effective messaging across various channels.

Key Responsibilities
  • Internal Communications: Support the development and implementation of internal communications strategies, ensuring timely and accurate dissemination of information to stakeholders.
  • External Communications: Craft engaging copy for press releases, articles, social media posts, and other external communications materials, adapting tone and style to suit diverse audiences.
  • Crisis Communications: Develop and implement crisis communications plans, ensuring prompt and effective response to emerging issues.
  • Press Handling: Liaise with regional and national press, pitching stories and securing media coverage for Connells Group UK.
  • Content Creation: Write high-quality, engaging content for various channels, including newsletters, articles, and social media posts.
  • SEO Optimization: Apply SEO principles to maximize the reach and impact of content.
  • Relationship Building: Foster strong relationships with internal stakeholders, journalists, and other external partners.
Requirements and Skills
  • Experience: Minimum of two years in communications, preferably in a complex organization.
  • Copywriting Skills: Proven ability to create high-quality, engaging content.
  • Language Proficiency: Strong command of English.
  • Research and Analytical Skills: Ability to dig deep and uncover compelling stories.
  • Creativity: Bring fresh ideas and a unique perspective.
  • Attention to Detail: Meticulously proofread and edit work.
  • Effective Communication: Collaborate seamlessly with team members.
  • Proven Experience in Issues Management: Demonstrated ability to manage complex issues and crises.
