Head of Finance and Operations

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Finance and Operations to join our team at Acuity Associates. As a key member of our senior leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing all financial functions, providing timely and detailed financial insights, and driving continued growth and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop robust forecasting processes and provide strategic financial insights to support long-term growth.
  • Lead comprehensive monthly reporting, budget management, and financial analysis to align with business objectives.
  • Manage cash flow and working capital, focusing on inventory, creditor, and debtor days to improve operational efficiency.
  • Oversee customer project costings and implement financial controls to ensure profitability and accurate tracking.
  • Apply cost accounting principles, including standard and marginal costing, and oversee COGS and product cost management.
  • Lead Capex planning, asset management, and life cycle costing, while leveraging government incentives where applicable.
  • Manage international trade finance, including transfer pricing, forex risks, and shipping costs.
  • Oversee the operational P&L and conduct gross profit analysis to drive business performance.
  • Lead and develop a small finance team, ensuring delivery of accurate and timely financial data.
Requirements:
  • ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified accountant.
  • Proven ability to manage hands-on financial operations and drive change.
