We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our team at Esland Care. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our students with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs to achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities- Work closely with our class teachers to develop and implement individualized learning plans for students with SEMH needs.
- Provide one-to-one support and small group instruction to students, focusing on their academic and personal development.
- Assist students in accessing our broad and balanced curriculum, including functional skills and life skills.
- Support students in developing their independence and self-advocacy skills.
- Collaborate with the teaching team to identify and address student needs, and to develop strategies for supporting students with challenging behaviors.
- Commitment to working with students with SEMH needs and a passion for making a positive impact on their lives.
