Head of Engineering Governance

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Engineering Governance to join our team at STEP. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of our engineering governance framework, ensuring that our programmes are delivered safely, efficiently, and effectively.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement the engineering governance framework for STEP, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
  • Lead the development of policies, procedures, and processes to ensure effective engineering governance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that engineering governance is integrated into all aspects of our programmes.
  • Provide guidance and support to programme teams to ensure that they are aware of and comply with engineering governance requirements.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including regulatory bodies, industry partners, and suppliers.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in engineering governance, with a strong understanding of relevant regulations and standards.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and motivate cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Strong understanding of STEP's programmes and operations, with the ability to apply engineering governance principles to real-world scenarios.
