Job Title: Business HSEQ ManagerAbout the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business HSEQ Manager to join our team at Michael Page (UK). As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for managing Health, Safety, and Environmental activities across a cluster of sites.

The successful candidate will lead and manage the QSHE function, enforcing consistent improvement and implementing new quality processes and systems when needed. You will also lead the QHSE team, driving a culture of safety and quality across the organization.

You will support in the development and implementation of QHSEQ strategy and objectives, representing the company regarding quality from a customer-facing perspective. This includes customer visits to ensure their expectations are accurately understood.

Your role will involve leading and mentoring all levels of the business to inspire a positive HSE culture. You will conduct regular audits and reviews to assess QHSE performance, inputting measures to prevent non-conformances, customer complaints, and reworks.

You will also prepare and present reports on QHSE performance to senior management. This role requires weekly travel, with expenses paid by the company.

What We Offer

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Business HSEQ Manager. The salary for this position is approximately £60,000 per annum, based on industry standards and requirements. This is a flexible, fixed-term offering, which can be negotiated on a day rate basis or a fixed term contract.

About You

To be considered for this role, you must have a strong background in HSEQ and quality management. You should hold a NEBOSH certificate and have experience conducting risk assessments, recommending, and supporting the implementation of HSEQ improvement plans.

You should also possess excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work with multi-disciplined operations to champion a HSE-aware workforce. If you have first-hand experience of managing HSE & Quality within a distribution or manufacturing environment, we encourage you to apply for this position.
