Job Title: Senior PHP Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior PHP Engineer to join our internal IT systems development team. As a Senior PHP Engineer, you will work in an agile environment with other teams to deliver business applications based largely on web technologies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, code, test, document, maintain, and support web-based applications
  • Contribute to requirements, design specification, and technical documentation
  • Research emerging technologies and products; recommend suitable products and plan implementation
  • Contribute to project planning (agile development)
  • Lead code reviews; mentor junior developers
Requirements:
  • 5+ years experience using PHP commercially
  • 1+ year experience using NodeJS commercially
  • Experience coaching and mentoring as well as leading code reviews and architectural decisions
