Senior PHP Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior PHP Engineer to join our internal IT systems development team. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with other teams to deliver business applications based on web technologies.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in PHP, with experience in NodeJS and a passion for coaching and mentoring. You will be responsible for designing, coding, testing, documenting, maintaining, and supporting web-based applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop web-based applications using PHP and NodeJS
  • Contribute to requirements, design specifications, and technical documentation
  • Research emerging technologies and recommend suitable products for implementation
  • Lead code reviews and contribute to project planning

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to work on a Greenfield SaaS Platform build using modern NodeJS. You will have the chance to use your expertise and contribute to the development of innovative products for our clients.

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of commercial experience using PHP
  • 1+ year of commercial experience using NodeJS
  • Experience in coaching and mentoring, leading code reviews, and architectural decisions
