About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Governance and Control Lead to join our Pricing and Underwriting Chapter. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading the development and delivery of our Pricing and Underwriting governance and control strategy, ensuring compliance with legislation and regulation, and the safe delivery of Pricing and Underwriting Change.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide strategic leadership to the wider business on the P&U Control environment both internally and externally to DLG.
  • Robust oversight of the P&U control environment, including robust reporting and review of delegated authorities.
  • Lead the continual development of the P&U control frameworks, driving efficiency and effective control, considering new and ongoing risks to our control environment.
  • Use your in-depth and specialized expertise in Governance and Control to support the business in achieving compliance and effective management of the control environment, developing and empowering your team to deepen their governance and control craft.

  • You'll be a subject matter expert with extensive governance and control experience, with the ability to demonstrate great delivery.
  • Specialized depth and breadth expertise in Governance and Control.
  • Experience of successfully leading a Pricing/Underwriting or similar function.
  • Ability to inspire and engage colleagues to do their best work every day, with a strong external network to bring thought leadership to our function.
