Job Summary

This SEND Teaching and Learning Specialist role is an excellent opportunity for a passionate and committed individual to make a positive impact in the lives of our students. As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and other professionals to provide tailored support to students with various special educational needs (SEN) in a primary school setting.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience working with children with SEN in a school or similar setting. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential for this role, as well as patience, empathy, and a positive attitude.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Developing and implementing individualized learning plans to support students with SEN
  2. Providing one-to-one and small group support to students with SEN in classroom settings
  3. Collaborating with teachers and other professionals to ensure effective delivery of lessons and activities

The estimated annual salary for this role is around £95,000, including a starting rate of £95.29 umbrella. This is a Monday to Friday, 08:30-15:30 position.

Qualifications and Experience

Previous experience working with children with SEN in a school or similar setting is essential for this role. Relevant qualifications, such as a Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant Certificate, are desirable but not essential.
