Job Title: Senior Financial Planning Manager

About the Role: At Quilter, we are growing our financial planning capability, and we are seeking a dynamic leader to support financial planners with our organic growth strategy.

Job Summary: We are looking for a people leader with a genuine commitment to motivating and developing planners to drive high levels of performance and to identify new initiatives to deliver a market-leading service to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a team of financial planners regionally, responsible for the ongoing servicing/retention as well as identification of new business.
  • Lead and manage local initiatives and events, ensuring business production and embedded client contact and sales strategy.
  • Monitor business production and oversee the relationship between financial planners and their investment manager counterparts.
  • Plan joint initiatives between financial planners and investment managers to enhance joint business development opportunities in the professional connections arena.
  • Establish, deliver, and analyse management information relating to Quilter, including production and servicing data.
  • Support recruitment and ongoing professional development of high-quality financial planners to maintain and grow the business in line with business plan.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in the financial services industry within the advice space with a background in investments, linked products, collective investment schemes, life insurance, and/or employee benefits.
  • Knowledge of sales management, client advice, and processes that support financial planners to meet required performance levels.
  • Technical competence in advice is essential to ensure Quilter stays within required compliance guidelines and parameters.
  • Knowledge and understanding of the competitor market and economic climate, with experience of investments, financial planning, and investment consulting.
