Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) leader to join our team at loveholidays. This is an exciting opportunity to play a critical role in driving business growth and shaping the company's financial strategy.

About the Role

The FP&A leader will be responsible for developing and maintaining accurate financial models, analyzing data to inform business decisions, and collaborating with stakeholders to ensure alignment with financial goals.

Main Responsibilities
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Develop annual budgets and quarterly forecasts, gathering data and setting financial assumptions to create accurate financial plans.
  • Rolling Forecasting: Support the shift to rolling forecasts, allowing the company to continuously update financial projections based on current performance, improving agility.
  • Financial Analysis: Conduct comprehensive analysis across P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow, ensuring alignment with financial goals and compliance with liquidity covenants.
Cash Flow Forecasting

Collaborate with Treasury to develop cash flow forecasts, ensuring sufficient liquidity for operations and initiatives. Monitor working capital and ensure the company meets liquidity covenant requirements to avoid financial risks.

Investment Committee

Coordinate communication, ensure timely preparation of documentation, and manage the process of investment proposal reviews. Keep investment policies current with business strategy and set timelines for submission and review of investment cases.

Planning Tool - Anaplan

Maintain and optimize Anaplan, ensuring it aligns business strategy with financial planning. Ensure Anaplan effectively connects strategic goals to financial outcomes, aiding leadership in data-driven decision-making.

MI Reporting

Assist in producing weekly and monthly reports that track performance, offering concise, insightful analysis. Provide detailed analysis of the cost base vs. actual spend.

Requirements
  • +3 years of experience in financial planning and analysis or a similar role.
  • Strong financial modelling and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in financial software applications, such as Anaplan.
  • Knowledge of accounting principles and financial statement analysis.

  • Estimated salary: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on location and experience.
