Job Overview

The position of Adoption Caseworker is available at Herefordshire Council, based in Hereford City, Ross on Wye and Leominster.

The successful candidate will have experience of working with vulnerable adults, including those with physical disabilities, learning disabilities, mental health needs, and older adults.

The primary responsibility of this role will be to conduct assessments, develop support plans, and coordinate resources for these individuals.

About the Ideal Candidate
  1. You must be registered as a social worker with Social Work England.
  2. You should have awareness and understanding of current legislation and guidance and their impact on the adult social care profession.
  3. You should have knowledge of undertaking person-centred, strengths-based, outcome-focused assessment, care management, and review.
  4. You should have the ability to undertake Safeguarding Enquiries commensurate with training and post-qualifying experience.
