With a focus on food-based approaches and appropriate prescribing of oral nutritional supplements, you will work closely with patients, their families, and carers to develop effective nutrition plans. You will have the chance to work collaboratively with GP practices, hospital dietitians, pharmacists, and other community-based teams to ensure coordinated care. To succeed in this role, you will need skills and experience across a range of clinical dietetic specialties, gained in either an acute or community setting. A Degree / Diploma in Dietetics, Current AHP with UK HCPC registration, and Membership of the British Dietetics Association are essential.
