Flight Operations Manager

As a Flight Operations Manager with the Royal Air Force, you will be responsible for planning and managing the operational support functions needed for the RAF's flying tasks. This will involve creating flight plans, advising on flight safety, and supervising teams of Flight Operations Assistants.
RequirementsTo be eligible for this role, you must have previous military experience within Flight Operations, obtaining the rank of SNCO. You must also be a UK citizen or have dual UK/other nationality, be aged 18-54, and commit to 27 days per year for a minimum of 12 years.
Training and DevelopmentAs a Reserve member of the RAF, you will receive basic training and specialist training in your field to prepare you for your role. You will also have opportunities for ongoing development, including RAF training packages and courses linked to outside professional bodies.
Commitment and LocationYou will be required to commit to 27 days per year for a minimum of 12 years, with each year including a 15-day block for general RAF training and 12 separate days for extra training or exercises. You may also be deployed to a UK or overseas base for up to 6 months after your first year.
