Flight Operations Manager

As a Flight Operations Manager with the Royal Air Force, you will be responsible for planning and managing the operational support functions necessary for the RAF's flying tasks. Your role will involve creating flight plans, advising on flight safety, and supervising teams of Flight Operations Assistants.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement flight plans to ensure safe and efficient operations
- Provide expert advice on flight safety and risk management
- Lead and manage teams of Flight Operations Assistants to achieve operational objectives
- Previous military experience within Flight Operations, with a minimum rank of SNCO
- UK citizenship or dual UK/other nationality
- Commitment to 27 days per year for a minimum of 12 years
As a Reserve member of the RAF, you will receive comprehensive training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge. This includes basic training, specialist training in your field, and ongoing development opportunities to support your career progression.
