About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented GIS professional to join our team as a Project GIS Analyst. As a key member of our GIS team, you will provide mapping and analysis support to our Senior GIS team and various technical disciplines within the Europe Region.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Georeferencing and digitising map data
  • Creating maps and drawings for reports, environmental impact assessments, sequential assessments, and discharge of condition reports
  • Capturing, managing, and analysing data in GIS from multiple sources and in various formats
  • Preparing field maps for surveys
  • Preparing and maintaining data in ArcGIS Online Environments
  • Collaborating with the team to deliver projects to tight deadlines and budgets
  • Ensuring adherence to QA processes and standards for data management and drawing outputs
  • Contributing to the smooth operation of the GIS team through active participation in team resource calls, supervision systems, and knowledge sharing

Requirements

We are looking for someone with a recognised GIS-based qualification and experience of working within a multidisciplinary consultancy. Key skills and qualifications include:

  • Proficient in the use of ESRI ArcGIS Pro and software extensions such as 3D & Spatial Analyst
  • Working knowledge of geodatabases
  • Working knowledge of ModelBuilder and/or Python advantageous
  • Experience of using ArcGIS Online
  • Conscientious worker with the ability to deliver to a consistent high standard with a keen eye for detail
  • Ability to work as part of a collaborative team and build strong relationships throughout the business
  • Good organisational skills with a proven ability to work to deadlines
