Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Geographic Information Systems Analyst to join our team at SLR Consulting. As a key member of our GIS team, you will be responsible for providing expert support and advice on GIS, geospatial data analysis, and bespoke digital tools development.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have a recognized GIS-based qualification and experience working within a multidisciplinary consultancy. You will be proficient in the use of ESRI ArcGIS Pro and software extensions such as 3D & Spatial Analyst, with a working knowledge of geodatabases and experience using ArcGIS Online.

Key Responsibilities

  • Georeferencing and digitising map data
  • Creating maps and drawings for reports, environmental impact assessments, sequential assessments, and discharge of condition reports
  • Capturing, managing, and analysing data in GIS from multiple sources and in a variety of formats
  • Preparing field maps for surveys
  • Preparing and maintaining data in ArcGIS Online Environments
  • Working with the rest of the team to deliver projects to tight deadlines and budgets
  • Adhering to QA process and standard for data management and drawing outputs
  • Contributing to the smooth operation of the GIS team through active participation in team resource calls, supervision systems, and knowledge sharing
