School Nursing Development Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled individual to join our team as a School Nursing Development Role. This is an exciting opportunity for a registered nurse to work in a community public health setting, supporting children and young people to adopt healthy lifestyles.
As a School Nursing Development Role, you will be responsible for developing your skills and knowledge in working with children and young people in a community public health environment. You will work closely with experienced Band 6 SCPHNs and other community public health staff nurses in the delivery of the Healthy Child Programme.
This role offers a competitive salary of £28,000 - £42,000 per annum, depending on experience. We also offer a comprehensive induction program, supportive mentorship arrangements, regular clinical and safeguarding supervision, and opportunities for continuing professional development.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for promoting public health, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a multi-agency environment. A recognised teaching and assessing qualification is essential for this role.
