Job Description

**Job Summary:** We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Graduate Acoustic Consultant to join our team at Penguin Recruitment. As a Graduate Acoustic Consultant, you will be responsible for providing expert guidance on noise and vibration mitigation for various projects, working closely with architects, developers, and local authorities.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Conduct thorough noise and vibration assessments and meticulously analyze findings to rectify any inefficiencies, ensuring conformity with British standards and relevant regulations.
  • Collaborate closely with site managers, line managers, and other key stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Prepare comprehensive technical reports based on assessment findings and generate compliance documents.

**Requirements:**

  • A minimum of a Bachelor's (BSc) or Master's (MSc) degree in Acoustics or a related field, coupled with membership in the Institute of Acoustics (IOA).
  • Demonstrated proficiency in both verbal and written communication.
  • Possession of a valid UK driving licence.
  • Proficient in organizing and prioritizing work in close collaboration with the entire team.
  • Understanding of all pertinent legislation concerning noise and environmental regulations.
  • Willingness to travel to various sites at short notice.
